guest policy
Plus Ones
Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those who were formally invited.
If you were given a plus one, it will be reflected on the envelope of your Save the Date/Invite.
We may be able to approve additional plus ones closer to the event. If you would like to confirm whether you were given a plus one, or request one, please text us or email juliaandjuanwedding@gmail.com.
Children
We love your kids, but due to the fact that our venue is a bar (and at the request of several of our guests who are parents), this is an adults-only event.

about the bride and groom
Originally from Great Falls, Montana, Julia moved to New Orleans to attend graduate school at the end of 2018. Juan grew up on the Westbank of New Orleans, and in search of a more fulfilling career, decided to pivot from law to healthcare around that same time. Both pursuing our masters in Occupational Therapy, we became fast friends in our graduate program and remained close for several years. One evening during the Covid pandemic, we both decided to skip a Halloween party in the interest of Covid safety, instead attending a four-person game night that Julia inisted was NOT a date. Later that Halloween night, we shared our first kiss, and quickly fell for each other (in the lightning-speed, pressure-cooker type of way that Covid relationships developed). Four-plus years later, when we're not traveling or spending time with loved ones in Nola, we still enjoy self-isolating in our home in Midcity with our dog, Roxy, and cat, Melo.
